Almira has joined AAO from the establishment of the office, she has been working in the student support area for around 11 years at different positions at NU. Almira has graduated from Kazakh British Technical University (KBTU) in Almaty and received her Master's Degree in E-business and Information Systems in Newcastle University, UK. In AAO Almira also coordinates the work with 5-6 year students, and oversees AAO's functions and projects. Almira enjoys hiking, doing yoga, running, taking bike rides, travelling, and spending time with her family.

Aikerim has joined the AAO in 2019 and since then have been happily involved in the AAO projects. She is a first cohort graduate of NU and has received her Master's Degree in International Trade in Sogang Graduate School of International Studies in Seoul, South Korea. In AAO, apart from advising, she is currently responsible for the Professional Development of the team and training of incoming advisors as well as data extraction and provision for the work of the AAO. Aikerim loves learning new languages and she speaks 5 languages (Kazakh, Russian, English, Turkish, Korean) and enjoys exploring new places as well as countries.

Aina started her work at AAO in 2020 and since then has been providing academic support to undergraduate students. Having earned a Bachelor's degree at Karaganda State University in Foreign Languages she worked in Nazarbayev Intellectual School (IB) for more than five years. She then pursued a Master's degree in Language Sciences and graduated from Ca'Foscari University of Venice in 2022. Aina enjoys watching movies, playing the guitar, exploring cuisine and cultures.

Aruzhan graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a Bachelor’s degree with honours in Biology in 2021. After graduation, she worked as a Biology teacher in NIS of Physics and Mathematics in Almaty. Then she received a Master’s degree in Psychology and Education at Warwick University. In the office apart from advising students, she is responsible for coordinating the Student Support Fellowship. Aruzhan loves crafting, watching Kdramas, and visiting theatres.

Ingkarim joined the AAO team in 2020. She graduated from University of International Business, Almaty with a Bachelor’s degree in Management. She has an MA in International Tourism and Leisure, Trieste, Italy and a MS in Sociocultural and International Development Education Studies Florida, USA. She is an alumna of UGRAD, Fulbright and Muskie Professional fellowships. She loves swimming, horse riding and travelling.
